Eligibility Criteria for MA English Course 2022

Eligibility Criteria for Admission Through Entrance Mode: 

B.A. English Honours from Delhi University 45% for General and 40.5% for OBC, and minimum passing marks for SC/ST/PwD categories
Any Bachelor’s Degree from UGC recognized University in India 50% for General and 45% for OBC, and minimum passing marks for SC/ST/PwD categories

Eligibility Criteria for Admission Through Merit Mode:

B.A. English Honours from Delhi University 60% for General, and 54% for OBC; Seats reserved for SC/ST/PwD will be filled up as per the merit decided upon by the Delhi University

Note: Sport Category admissions will be done on the basis of the guidelines issued by the University of Delhi Sports Council.

DUET Admit Card 2022

  • DUET Admit Card 2022 will be issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying the eligibility criteria.
  • However, DUET Admit Card 2022 is not proof of meeting eligibility criteria, for which selected candidates may have to prove later on.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions related to exams and Covid19 protocols given on the DUET Admit Card 2022.
  • For any discrepancies or errors in DUET Admit Card 2022, candidates are recommended to reach out through Helpline between 10 am to 5 pm
  • Alongwith print copy of DUET Admit Card 2022 candidates will need to carry One Passport size photo, Govt. Authorized Photo ID such as Pan Card, DL or Aadhaar Card, and if applicable, PwBD certificate.


DUET MA English Entrance Result 2022

  • Before the publishing of results and cut-off lists, the DU MA English Entrance 2022 question paper with provisional answer keys will be published. 
  • Candidates will be allowed to challenge the answer keys online. 
  • However, Rs. 200/- per question challenge has to be made on the portal itself.
  • The National Testing Agency decision on the answer challenge will be final and binding, no further challenge or grievances will be entertained. 
  • In case if some question is dropped from DU MA English Entrance 2022, full marks will be awarded to all candidates. 
  • After the challenge, DUET MA English Entrance 2022 results will be declared. 
  • The first cut-off will be published within a week after results to invited shortlisted candidates to secure their seat on first-cum-first-serve basis. 


Online Application Process for DUET 2022

Follow the step by step instruction below to apply for DU MA English Entrance 2022 (DUET): 

Step 01: Visit the DU PG Admission Portal here – https://pgadmission.uod.ac.in/

Step 02: Click on ‘New User Registration’ link on the right hand side

Step 03: Fill the form to register online

Step 04: Use your registered email id and password to login

Step 05: Start the online application process by filling up the application form

Step 06: Upload passport size photos, scanned signature, and final statement of marksheet in prescribed formats

Step 07: Upload your identity proof such as DL, Aadhaar Card, Pan Card etc. 

Step 08: Select the MA English program, and choose from Merit Based, Entrance Test Based or Both Merit and Entrance based admission mode. 

Step 09: Save application and review it

Step 10: If all set and your application is accurate, then pay application fee online

Step 11: Remember, registration and application will be considered complete only after the realization of payment

Step 12: Download payment receipt and save your application no for future use

Note: After submission of the form, no corrections will be allowed. Therefore, candidates are advised to meticulously review their application before submission.
