2. Life Sciences
3. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC Test 2017
Masters in Science or equivalent degree such as integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS. With at least 55 percent marks for General and OBC-Non Cream layer candidates. And 50 percent for SC/ST, physically, and visually handicapped candidates.
Candidates pursuing MSc or equivalent are also eligible to apply under the Result Awaited category. Provided candidate complete qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the two years time from the effective date of award of fellowship.
Syllabus of CSIR UGC NET Test
This exam consists of three parts – A, B, and C.
Part A: contains questions on all common subjects such as logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative analysis etc.
Part B: contains objective questions on syllabus from main topics.
Part C: contains objective questions that test candidates subjective and conceptual knowledge of scientific concepts.
