Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET 2017) of AP State Council of Higher Education (ASCHE) to be conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuram.
AP LAWCET is a common law entrance test for ASCHE affiliated state universities that offer 3 and 5 year LLB. The last date to apply without late fee is 18th March 2017.
The AP LAWCET is one of the coveted law entrance tests in India. There are more than +30 state law universities under ASCHE that accepts AP LAWCET score. Also there are more than 8,000 seats available

AP LAWCET 2017 – 3 and 5 year LLB Programmes
There are two categories of programmes. The first category is 3 year LLB course that includes:
- LLB
- LLB (Hons.)
And the second category is 5 year LLB course that includes:
- B.A. LLB
- B.A. LLB (Hons.)
- BBA LLB
- B.Com LLB
The upper age limit for 3 year LLB courses for General category is 20 years. And for SC, ST, and OBC categories it is 22 years.
5 year LLB courses upper age limit for General category is 30 years. And for SC, ST, and OBC categories it is 35 years.
AP LAWCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The AP LAWCET 2017 3 year LLB courses’ eligibility criteria is as given following:
Any bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum 45 percent. For students securing less than 45 percent should have postgraduate degree or another bachelor’s degree with 45 percent aggregate marks.
The AP LAWCET 2017 5 year LLB courses’ eligibility criteria is as given following:
The candidates should have passed 10+2 with aggregate 45 percent marks from a recognized board in India.
In both 3-year and 5-year LLB courses, a 5 percent relaxation is given to candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. And 3 percent relaxation to OBC candidates.

Medium: English and Telugu
The AP LAWCET 2017 will consist of three parts.
Total questions: 120 questions
Total duration: 90 minutes
Maximum marks: 120 marks

In the Part C of AP LAWCET will cover the foundational knowledge of law, principles of the law and constitution of India. For the 5 year LLB programmes the level of questions in Part C will be intermediate. And for 3 year LLB programmes it will be of degree level.
