NTA for the first time conducted UGC NET exam from 18th December to 22nd December 2018 in two shifts per day across 235 cities (in 598 exam centers) in India. There were around 85 subjects, for which 9 lakhs registered for it.
The total number of 6.8 lakh candidates appeared for the UGC NET exam.
Recently, NTA has announced results in which 44 thousand candidates qualified for Assistant Professor only. On the other hand, more than 3800 qualified for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor.
