Presidency University MA English Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria you will need to meet in order to apply for MA English entrance exam at Presidency University:
– Indian citizen
– no bar on age
– BA English Honors degree from any recognized University in India
– Final year students are eligible to apply provided they submit their results by 31st August 2019
– Minimum percentage required by the General category is 50 percent. For OBC – 45 percent, SC and ST – 37.5 percent, and PwD – 47.5%.
Total non-PU quota 16 seats are available for MA English course at Presidency University.
MA English Entrance Syllabus of Presidency University
- BA English Honors syllabus of Presidency University or its equivalent recognized university in India.
- Exam pattern consists of Mulitple Choice Question paper with a total of 50 questions carrying a total of 100 marks and total time 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Negative marking of ½ marks will be levied on incorrect choice, and no response will yield zero marks.
- The merit ranks list will be prepared for each general and reserved categories.
