Jamia Millia Islamia University has started their registrations for entrance test with the last date to apply is 30th March 2024. The tests will start from 25th April 2024.
In 2024, JMI University ranked 3rd in NIRF 2024 university category making it one of the most sought universities in India.

MA English Entrance Syllabus for Jamia
| Part A: 40 MCQs will be asked from a range of topics such as history of English literature, literary criticism and theory, literary terms, classical literature and literary movements. |
| Part B: 2 essay-type questions will be asked to write a critique on excerpts or quotations from literary theory and criticism and a reflective essay on authors, texts, movements, and critical perceptions. |
