Panjab University has started registration for MA English Entrance for 2024 admissions.
The last date to register is 24th May 2024, and the Panjab University MA English Entrance exam will take place on 15th June 2024 (Sunday from 4 to 5:30pm).

Panjab University is situated in Chandigarh (Capital of Punjab) and one of the oldest university in India established way back in 1882.
It is ranked 4th in the university category of Times Higher Education 2019-20 survey.
In addition to this, Panjab University boast of sprawling campus spread over 550 acres of land.
Panjab University MA English programme is one of its most sought after course.
However, there are only 100 seats available in MA English, in which 15 seats are available for NRIs and 5 for foreign nationals and reservation is applied as per UGC norms.
It is to be noted that many students have confusion regarding Panjab University participation in CUET PG 2024.
Panjab University is not part of CUET PG, they will conduct their own entrance exam named PUCET (Panjab University Common Entrance Test) for PG programmes.

Eligibility Criteria for Panjab University MA English
Following are the eligibility criteria for Panjab University MA English programme:
- UG degree with minimum 45% marks in English elective or English compulsory subject
- UG degree in any subject with aggregate 50% marks
