DU Admission 2020 Notification – Last Date Extended by 31st July

On 20th June, Delhi University started DU admission 2020 process online. The second time, DU again extended the last date by 31st July.
Coronavirus pandemic around the globe is forcing countries to lock down to stop the spreading. India also witnessed 2 months long lock down, but now things are being unlocked to revive economy and business.
On the same lines of unlocking, universities are now planning to initiate their online registration, therefore Delhi University also announced.
On the first day, more than 25,000 students across India applied for DU admission 2020, and the very next day more than 75,000 students had applied.
However, NTA (national testing agency) was expected to notify and conduct the online registration, but it seems like Delhi University has taken the charge.
Moreover, the DU seems hurried in starting the online registration as there was no notice before 20th of June on du.ac.in (official website) or NTA website.
In addition, India’s top university has given only 15 days time to registration online for students in India. DU admission 2020 process will be completely online this time.
There will be no trials for ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) quota, and also interviews and open house sessions will be conducted online only.
Lastly, the entrance exams (DUET 2020) is expected to be conducted by the mid or late in August. And commencement of classes will take place in the 1st week or 2nd week of September 2020.

| 2. | Click on the given link on the web page for the portal |
| 3. | Click on the ‘New User Registration’ link or button |
| 4. | Fill the form to register |
| 5. | Keep your username and password |
| 6. | Go back to the admission portal |
| 7. | Use your generated username and password |
| 8. | Start your DelhI University application process online |
| 9. | Fill in the details accurately |
| 10. | Upload the photos, signature and relevant documents in given formats |
| 11. | Review and confirm your application |
| 12. | Pay your application fee |
| 13. | Keep a copy of your receipt for future use |
| 14. | Keep a copy for your application form as well with application no. |
CBSE and other board results awaited students will get to upload their marks later on, as and when boards and CBSE declares the result. The verification of the marks will now be done online, for more info, contact DU helpline (contact details given at the end).
